Commonly known as the Spider Lily, this hardy member of the Amaryllis family has large iridescent red flowers with backward-bent petals and stamens curving gracefully.
When to plant: Late Spring to Summer
Flowering Time: Autumn, grows foliage in cooler months
How to Plant: Plant 20cm apart with the neck of the bulb just above the soil
Mature Height: 60cm
