Landscaping/Planting:
Plant in part to full sun position where plant won’t dry out. Large tubs are ideal. Will help suppress weeds.

Cultivation/Fertiliser:
Needs to be kept moist at all times. Fertilise regularly with organic fertiliser. Cut back in mid spring to keep under control.

Flavours/Food Partners:
Mild green flavour that works well with green and herbal teas, salads and sandwiches.

Health/Cooking/Medicinal:
Extensive pharmacological studies have shown that Brahmi is a brain tonic that improves memory recall and learning ability. The active ingredient is now available through health food shops but is always best used fresh from your own garden.
Best results from three 10cm sprigs twice a day. Use in salads or sandwiches. Also, take as a tea – combine with traditional Chinese green tea by adding 6 sprigs per cup and brewing for 6-8 minutes.
